Lansdowne is a very scenic place. Right now the weather will be too chilly. Route will be the Delhi–Meerut–Bijnore-Nagina-Badhapure-Tiger Reserve Park-Kotdwar-Lansdowne, It can be covered on weekends as the the duration of traveling would be 09- 10 hrs from Delhi. Places where you can stay over there is Blue pine resort. It is an average place to stay

There are a few private hotels and lodges in addition to Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam’s tourist bungalow. Besides this, there is a PWD inspection bungalow, Army Welfare Board Rest House and Uttarakhand Forest Department base camp where you can stay with prior arrangement. For further information contact GMVNL at Tel 011-3350481 or the Pauri Regional Tourist Office

Lansdowne is a nice sleepy town ideal for romantic couples or minds seeking some peace. I have been there twice once on bike and once in car, though biking is more enjoyable but depends on the weather. The following is the route I took from Delhi to Meerut to Bijnore to Najibabad to Kotdwar to Lansdowne Distance is approx 270 kms. I would recommend you go there on a long weekend 2 days would be somewhat hectic
