There are so many good hill stations in North India are Manali, Kullu, Shogi, Naldhera, Thanedar and few other places near Naintal where you can even stay in the Tree house at Ayar Camp. Views over there are lovely and perfect destinations for Honeymooner. You will just love it.

For my honeymoon last year I chose Gangtok because those places are very calm and quiet and in winters there are very less tourist. People are good and simple, Hotels are fabulous and you can get various places to see also. Me and my wife wanted a very quiet place without any rush of tourist like you have in Goa, Kerala etc. So it depends on your choice and anyways in honeymoon you would like to spend less time in seeing places and more with your partner 🙂
    have a happy honeymoon 🙂

I think the best place would depend on how much cold do you like and bear. If you like snowfalls then Kullu Manali would be one option and Auli another option. If you want hills without snow (less snow) then you can look for Mussoorie, Shimla and Nainital. Most of the big hotels also offer Honeymoon Packages where you may look to grab a deal
