  1. Kunal says:

The distance between Delhi to Jaisalmer is 781 Kms and it takes a whole day to reach over there. If you are planning to stay there for 3-4 days then you can see many places there. It is also called as the “Golden city of India”, because of the yellow sand which gives a yellowish – golden colour to the city and its surroundings. The first thing you can see is Jaisalmer fort which is famous for its “Raj Mahal” and there are many big Havelies you can visit:
    1.Patwon Ki Haveli
    2.Salam Singh ki Haveli
    3.Nathmalji ki Haveli
Also in January/February Desert festival is held every year where you can enjoy Kalbelia dance, folk music, Camel safari, Jeep Safari etc.

I must say Jaisalmer is a colorful city with lots of beautiful forts and temples.Places like Nathmal-ki-Haveli, Jain Temples, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort and amazing food joints which serves authentic food of Rajasthan..!!
Nov to Feb is the best time to visit Jaisalmer and a Desert Safari on the sandunes should not be missed..It is a perfect adeventure ride on the camel.
